
We normally only carry new reproduction parts for Ford and Mercury passenger cars and trucks from 1909 to the early 70's. We do not carry any parts for Lincoln, Ford Pinto, Maverick or Mustang II or Mercury Cougars of any year. Mainly this is due to the lack of demand, the lack of a steady supply of new reproduction parts, and the lack of accurate technical knowledge. Items that did not sell are normally relisted. If you are an unsuccessful bidder on an item, we might send a 'Second Chance Offer' for it, depending on how many we have in stock, etc. We will refuse all requests of this type if an item did not receive any bids. Yes. If you are a previous Mac's customer, supplying us with your customer number (or zip code and last name) will greatly help us in getting your parts to you as quickly as possible. Also you can specify a credit card that we have on file (all we need is the last 4 numbers and the expiration date) so there are no security concerns about identity theft. Our checkout page allows customers to enter this information.
We try to resolve all problems as best we can, and work with customers so they are satisfied. However, we carry over 45,000 different parts for many years and models of Ford and Mercury cars and trucks. Sometimes we have misidentified, or mislabeled items. Our researched information or information from our suppliers may not be accurate. Items can get broken in the warehouse or in shipping. We can only attempt to keep mistakes to a minimum, but we are only human and mistakes do happen. Normally we try to exchange an item for the correct one, or ship a replacement for a broken one. If an item cannot be exchanged or returned, all that we can do is refund 100% any payments made.
We also try our best to identify and disclose all defects, blemishes, or other problems with an item and describe them in the auction description or with pictures. We sell many different types of items: normal top-quality inventory that may be overstocked, discontinued items, defective/damaged/blemished items, and non-Ford items that we do not normally sell through our catalog.

We use United Parcel Service
(UPS) for all shipments. They provide us with timely deliveries,
package tracking, and include up to $100 insurance on all packages. Our
UPS shipments are collected every day, where our USPS mail shipments

For all of our eBay items we calculate all costs with the eBay shipping calculator, using the actual weight of the item. Costs depend on the dimensional size/weight of the items and the distance they will travel. If an item is too large to ship by UPS it has to be shipped by a trucking company (normally this will be noted on the auction page). For more information on UPS package sizes please view this page.
IF POSSIBLE, items can be combined into one shipment (although depending on the parts, not necessarily in one box) and costs are calculated using the customer's shipping address. Since it takes longer to process these orders, customers may wish to send the entire amount and we will refund the difference, otherwise we will contact you with the calculated total as soon as the items are processed (picked, boxed, weighed and invoiced).
When the items are shipped, a copy of the order invoice will be sent by email, and this will include the UPS tracking number. Please be sure we have your correct email address so that you can receive this mail. (Set spam blockers to accept mail from macsauto.com) You can track your item in transit from ups.com .
While our regular Mac's items can be shipped internationally, eBay items will not be shipped internationally, unless a new customer has a U.S. shipping address. We will refuse all other requests for international shipping.
The biggest reason we do not choose to sell our eBay items internationally is due to the requirements of PayPal's Seller Protection Program, which requires that items are shipped to a confirmed address with a trackable shipping method and proof of delivery (varies by country).
We also require absolute trackability for all auction items, which is why we ship by UPS only. UPS includes tracking and insurance, which helps in case there are any problems. Generally they are more efficient than our normal postal service and are easier to deal with in the event of a problem. Unfortunately this also makes shipping costs EXTREMELY expensive. Therefore, foreign buyers would be better off ordering parts directly from our website, where we can offer alternative shipping options (USPS, BAX, etc.)

We do not ship any items by FedEx. We also will not falsify customs documents, invoices, etc. because we will not risk losing our export license. This will greatly affect our regular customers and dealers located all over the world.
Please understand that this policy is in effect in order for Mac's to continue to do business on eBay.
Auction items are dealt with on a first come, first serve basis. Items paid using PayPal are the first to be processed since they are usually paid for right away. Money orders/personal checks are processed as they arrive. Payments sent by "eCheck" through PayPal take 4 days to clear. Orders with payments received before 3pm Eastern Time usually leave on the same day.
