RETURNS


Q. I returned parts and I want to know when I will receive my credit?
A. Credit is normally processed in about 7-10 business days from receipt of package.

Q. How do I return an item?
A. Fill out the yellow return form that came on your box in the packing slip and include a copy of the invoice in the box with your return. The address of where to return the item(s) is on the form.

Q. I bought this part longer than 30 days ago and I want to return it, can I still?
A. Yes, but you may be charged a 12% restocking fee.

SHIPPING


Q. Exactly how much is the shipping going to be on my order?
A. We can’t give you an exact shipping amount because all of our shipping charges are based on the final weight and size of the package. The amount of shipping on your Internet order is an estimated amount based on the dollar value of the parts ordered. Actual shipping may be less or more depending on weight of all items.

Q. Can my order ship today?
A. As long as we have the parts you want in stock, we usually can ship the same day when requested. There is a $2.00 rush "out today" fee that will be added on to your order to provide this service. If ordering online please include a note in the special instructions box stating you want your order to ship the same day. If ordering after 2:30 PM EST it is most likely your order won't ship out until the following day.

Q. How fast can I get my order?
A. As long as all your parts are in and the parts you ordered are able to go by air we can ship your order out by Next Day Air UPS and you will see it in one day. This is the fastest but the most expensive way to ship, of course regular shipping gets parts to our customers in usually 3-7 business days depending on your location. NOTE: Any order that comes in after 2:30 PM EST will not leave until the following day.

Q. If my order left by US Mail how long should I wait for the package before I get worried?
A. Mail has been slower since 9/11, so you really need to wait a couple weeks before calling us.

Q. How do you ship your parcels?
A. Domestic - We ship mostly by UPS but if you have a small order we can ship that by US Mail. Large items will be shipped by truck.
Canada: We ship by either US Mail or UPS.
International: We ship by US Mail, UPS, or BAX (Burlington Air Express).

Q. When will I receive my package?
A. If shipped by UPS it takes approximately 5-6 business days to the arrive on the west coast, 4-5 for the mountain regions, 3-4 for the central and southern states and 1-2 for the upper east coast.

Q. What is the cheapest way to ship?
A. Depending on the weight US Mail is usually cheapest, but also slower and non-traceable.

Q. Why do you charge a second shipping charge on backorder items when it's not my fault there on backorder?
A. We charge by weight of parcels leaving. Since the parts weren't in the original shipment you never paid for the weight.

Q. When will my parts ship from your company?
A. Our orders usually ship within 48 hours.

Q. What if UPS comes and I’m not home?
A. In most cases UPS will leave the package at your door. If you live in an area where there have been problems then they will leave you a note saying they tried to deliver your package. They will make 3 delivery attempts.

Q. Can I have my package shipped to a different address?
A. Yes we can ship your package anywhere you like.

CATALOGS


Q. How long will it take for me to get the catalog I ordered?
A. Most of our customers see their catalog in about 10 days.

Q. Can I get a catalog?
A. You can order a catalog online through this website. If you are within the US we ship them for free in about 10 days, if you are outside the US there is a $5.00 mailing charge per catalog to get it to you.

Q. Where are you guys located?
A. We are about 20 minutes East of Niagara Falls NY.

Q. What are your business hours?
A. Monday thru Friday Showroom - 8:00 – 5:30 and Phones 8:00 – 11:00, Saturday Showroom 8:00 – 12:30 and Phones 8:00 – 5:00. NOTE: You can place orders online 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

BACKORDERS


Q. My part is on backorder and it’s been the 2-3 weeks the invoice stated, when will it be in?
A. We try to process all of our backorders in 2-3 weeks or sooner; unfortunately sometimes it takes a little longer to get them in from some vendors and production times may vary, we will try to advise you of those once you place an order.

DISCOUNTS


Q. Can I have a discount?
A. We have monthly specials but other than that we currently don’t offer any other discounts for our retail customers.

Q. I have a discount from a show worth 10% off but if something is out of stock am I going to pay full price when it comes in or am I going to get a discount still?
A. When your backordered item comes in and is being shipped the 10% will still be applied.

Q. I was trying to use an e-coupon. Why doesn’t my discount show on my screen for my internet order?
A. The discount will show on the copy of the invoice that will be emailed to you when your order ships.

PARTS QUESTIONS


Q. Do you sell used parts?
A. Sorry we don't carry any used parts.

Q. Do you have LTD parts?
A. LTD will be the same as a Full size ford.

Q. Where do I find parts that you don’t list in the catalog?
A. You could try searching on the Internet, picking up a copy of Hemming Motor News, Ebay, or looking at ads in any trade publication.

Q. I have a 1949 Ford but all I see for the part I want are for years 1950-1952, will those work on my 1949?
A. No, it won't. We research all of our parts for what years they apply to. There must be something different with your year car to where this part won’t fit it.

Q. But I think this part will work. Can't you send it to me?
A. We can send you the part but it will be noted on your order that we advised you it wouldn’t work, so you will be responsible for the shipping back if you need to return it along with a possible restocking fee. NOTE: The part is not returnable if it has been damaged or altered in any way.

Q. What if I don’t like the quality of a part?
A. If you don’t like the quality you may return it to us for credit. Return forms come with each shipment or can be printed directly from our website.

Q. Are your parts Foreign or US made?
A. The vast majority of our parts are made in the U.S. and we inspect and watch for quality parts. No matter what country makes the item we want you to have the best.

Q. I see discontinued listed next to a part, can I backorder it?
A. If a part has been discontinued that means we no longer can get it from any manufacturer because they are no longer making it, and we currently don’t have any other source for the part.

Q. I have a core and now I want to return it for credit, what do I do?
A. Fill out the yellow return from and include a copy of the invoice if possible. Put it inside the box and ship it back to us.

Q. My invoice says an item is being drop shipped. If a part is coming direct from the manufacturer do I get charged for shipping on that also?
A. Yes, as you would have been charged for the weight if it had been in the box leaving here with the rest of your parts.

Q. How long will it take to get this part direct from the manufacturer?
A. Drop ship items normally take about 2-3 weeks, some are faster depending on the manufacturer and some are slower.

TECHNICAL QUESTIONS


Q. I left a message with your technical staff and they haven’t called me back, when can I expect to hear from them?
A. Depending on how busy they are could constitute the delay. We only have one technician and he answers calls and emails in the order of which they came in. He should be getting back to you shortly.

PAYMENT QUESTIONS


Q. What payment methods will you take?
A. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club, You can also mail in your order accompanied by a personal check or money order and there is also the option of COD, which will require a money order or bank certified check for the UPS driver. COD's cannot ship by air and anything coming directly from the manufacturer cannot be shipped COD.

Q. Can I write a company or personal check for my COD order?
A. We only accept money orders or bank certified checks when orders ship COD.

Q. Can I have an Open Account?
A. We don't offer that as a payment option currently.

Q. I have a Gift Certificate here to use on an order what do I do?
A. You will need to send that in with your order, we don't accept faxed copies or photocopies of gift certificates.

MISCELLANEOUS


Q. Do you have catalogs or parts for Cougars or Lincolns?
A. We don't currently have anything available for those vehicles but here are a few numbers you can try.

Q. Do you have a minimum order amount?
A. There is no minimum order amount but any order that is under $20.00 will be charged a $2.00 minimum order fee.

Q. My catalog shows a different price than what you charged me.
A. All prices in the catalog are subject to change without notice. We try to keep our prices as low as possible, but price changes can and do still happen.

SPECIALS


Q. Do you have any specials that you run?
A. We do have monthly specials, if your email address is on file you will receive an email at the end of every month informing you what the special is going to be for the following month. We also offer specials over the phone when you call in to place an order, and we now also have specials that appear on our website. By clicking on the specials button that flashes you will be able to see everything that is on sale for the month in each catalog.

GLASS


Q. I am someone who lives outside the U.S. and I would like to order some glass. Can you get it to my safely?
A. I'm sorry. We do not ship glass outside of the U.S. because of the fact that it could arrive broken.

Q. I ordered tinted glass and I want to return it.
A. We're sorry. As stated in our catalog, tinted glass in non-returnable.

Q. Is the glass you use safety glass?
A. Yes it is.

INTERNET ORDERS


Q. How long does it take to get an Internet confirmation when placing an order?
A. Your order confirmation should be delivered to your email almost instantly. If you don’t get one then it most likely means your order didn’t go through. An invoice will also be e-mailed after the order is shipped

Q. On your website I see a column when looking up parts that is titled STOCK. Does that mean that the part is in stock in your warehouse?
A. No that column means that it is a normal stocked item for us, it doesn’t mean that we do have it in stock currently.

DAMAGED ITEMS


Q. I received my package today and something is damaged what do I do?
A. Please call our toll free number and speak to our Customer Service Representative or send an email to customerservice@macsauto.com and we will advise you of the proper actions that will be taken.
