All items offered in our parts catalogs are good quality brand new, rebuilt, or New Old Stock (N.O.S.) reproductions. We do not offer used parts or operate a salvage yard where we can pull parts for resale.

MINIMUM ORDER

There is no minimum order. However, on orders with less than $20.00 worth of parts there is a $2.00 Special Handling Fee which will be charged in addition to the regular Boxing and Shipping Charges. (To Top)

ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS

• Due to the high volume of orders that we must process every month, we highly recommend that you have all your order information ready (customer number, part numbers, payment method) and organized BEFORE calling. This will help make the ordering process go as smoothly as possible.
• C.O.D., MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express/Diners Club and mail order payments are accepted.
• On credit card orders, we need your card number and expiration date.
• Orders of less than $10.00 cannot be charged on credit cards.
• Please do not phone in an order for which you will be mailing a check. Any returned check is subject to a $15.00 fee.
• C.O.D. orders are only available in the U.S. and can be paid by:

  - Postal Money Order
  UNLESS PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE.

PRICES

All prices in the catalogs are subject to change without notice. We try to keep our prices as low as possible and hold price changes to a minimum. Prices may be given over the phone, but these are current prices at the time of the request, and are not to be considered quotes. (To Top)

BACK ORDERS

• All items are shipped promptly, except where noted "Special Order" or "Exchange Only."
• We will back order if the item is not is stock but is expected within 14 days.
• Anything can be back ordered by request.
• It is the customer's responsibility to keep track of back orders.
• The shipping charges remain the responsibility of the customer for any duplicated back orders or orders refused because they are no longer needed.
• If a back order is no longer needed, be sure to cancel it and avoid unnecessary shipping charges. (To Top)

SHIPPING POLICY

• All orders are shipped by United Parcel Service (UPS) by default.
• US Postal Service shipping in the U.S. is by request only or to Post Office Boxes.
• Oversize orders will be shipped Freight Collect.
• On all orders outside the U.S., please see the International Information Page.
• UPS weight limit in the U.S. is 150 lbs.

These are shown in the chart on the Order Form. They are ESTIMATED charges only. Actual billed charges will depend upon weight, dimensions, and destination. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

ORDERING: We will accept orders for parts that are listed in our catalog. Orders should be filled out completely on our order form. Fill in all the information requested. Phone number and postal code must be included.

SHIPPING: All orders will be mailed US Air Mail when possible. Also see "Alternate Shipping Information." Shipments will be made by courier when specified by the customer or if size / value is a factor.

WEIGHT: In general, almost all countries will accept individual packages weighing up to 10 kilo. Many countries will accept packages up to 20 kilo. We will package your order in the required number of containers to meet with these requirements.

SIZE: The U.S. Postal Service, not the customer’s country, determines the size limits. In general, the greatest length cannot exceed 106 cm. The total length and girth combined cannot exceed 180 cm.

INSURANCE: US Postal Service Insurance is available for most countries. Individual countries have different maximum insurance limits. Insurance limits apply to each individual package, not the total order if in more than one package. All packages are automatically insured for the value of the contents where insurance is available.

CUSTOMS: Custom Forms are required for all packages being sent from the U.S. We will complete and attach the required forms. The customer is responsible for paying all duties, fees, and taxes levied by his country. Values will not be altered on customs documents.

POSTAGE: All Postage Fees charged by the Postal Service are based on actual weight. As a means of estimating the postage required, we have devised the chart below. These are ESTIMATED amounts. Actual postage will be charged. Any shortage will be billed. Any excess will be held as a credit to apply to a future order. We do not refund foreign orders paid with a check or money order.

OTHER CHARGES: In addition to the postage charges above, there are three other charges. These are explained below:

BOXING FEE: International shipments require special boxing and wrapping and the preparation of Customs Documents. To simplify things, we have established a minimum fee of $3.00 or 5% for every $100.00, whichever is greater. Please add this to the above postage charges. Also include special fees for specific parts listed in the catalog.

BANK COLLECTION FEES: If your form of payment does not meet the Banking Requirements listed in the Payments Section, our bank will charge a Collection Fee. This fee is explained in the Payments Section. The fee is the exact amount of the bank Collection Fee. These fees are normally between $15.00 and $50.00.

PAYMENTS: All payments must be in U.S. dollars. Cash, in the form of U.S. dollars, may be sent at the customer's risk. All checks, money orders, or drafts must be payable on a New York Bank and have U.S. Federal Reserve Routing Numbers. These are special numbers used by the U.S. Banking System. If you cannot obtain this type check from your bank with these numbers, then please include the Bank Collection Fee listed above in the "Other Charges" section. Full payment, including postage and other charges, must be included with your order. There are no Open Accounts or Credit extended.

CREDIT CARDS: We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover/Novus. All of these cards are worldwide. Please check to be sure the cost of your order does not exceed your Credit Card Limits. All card charges are computer authorized prior to shipping. Shipment will not be made if authorization cannot be obtained.

ADDRESS: Please be sure you have included your complete address on the order form. It must include everything required for delivery in your country, including your postal code. Anything that will help insure delivery should be included. If you have a telephone, the inclusion of its complete number is required. Also include the name of the nearest international airport.

EXPRESS MAIL / AIR FREIGHT COURIERS: Upon special request small packages will be shipped by Express Mail / Air Freight Couriers. Double the shipping rate amounts shown in the Postage chart if you want your package sent Express Mail. The fee schedule is quite expensive and should be considered only if speed is essential or the ordered items are too big for Parcel Post. The fee schedule for Air Freight is too complex to provide estimates. The fee is based on a combination of weight, volume, and destination. UPS Air Service is also available; rates vary greatly by destination.

We do NOT ship by Ocean Freight. Crating costs, shipping costs, and other problems preclude the offering of this service.

CATALOG REQUESTS: Any request for a catalog not accompanied by an order requires $5.00 per catalog to cover postage costs. If the catalog is requested with an order, it will be included in the postage.

RETURNED GOODS

• Parts may be returned with a valid reason within 30 days.
• Please write, call or e-mail us BEFORE returning anything - stating your reason for the return.
• On any returned items which are not damaged or defective, a 12% restocking fee may be charged.
• When returning an item, please be sure to ENCLOSE A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL SALES INVOICE. Returns will not be processed without a copy of the invoice.
• All returned items must be prepaid. Our liability is limited to the purchased price paid -- with no liability for consequential losses. (To Top)
• For no reason will returns be accepted after one year.

DAMAGED/MISSING GOODS

If merchandise was damaged in shipping, or parts are missing, immediately notify the carrier and file a claim. DO NOT DISCARD THE SHIPPING CONTAINER OR THE MERCHANDISE. Following this, call or write us for further instructions. (To Top)

• Money Order, Bank Drafts, and Checks should be payable to: MAC's Antique Auto Parts.
• U.S. funds are only accepted.
• New York State residents include proper sales tax applicable to your city or county.

Paying by check authorizes MAC's Antique Auto Parts to send the information from your check electronically to your bank for payment. Your account will be debited in the amount of your check and the transaction will appear on your bank statement. You will not receive your cancelled check back. If we cannot post the transaction electronically, you authorize us to present a copy of your check for payment. (To Top)

REFUNDS

All refunds are issued approximately 14 days after shipping unless items are back ordered, in which case the refund, if any, will be issued approximately 14 days after the shipping of the last back ordered item.

Checks must be cashed within 6 months. A replacement fee of $10.00 will apply to all uncashable or lost checks. (To Top)

NEW YORK STATE SALES TAX

All parts picked up at our store or delivered in N.Y. State are subject to the N.Y. State Sales Tax regardless of where you live, unless you have a N.Y. Resale # or Exempt # ON FILE at MAC's. Tax is calculated on the total of your order, including boxing and shipping. (To Top)
