GENERAL INFORMATION

All items offered in our parts catalogs are good quality brand new, rebuilt, or New Old Stock (N.O.S.) reproductions. We do not offer used parts or operate a salvage yard where we can pull parts for resale.

After hours, our Code-A-Phone will take your order for a catalog or parts. There is no charge to you for this call, and you can get your parts faster at less cost.

MINIMUM ORDER

There is no minimum order. However, on orders with less than $20.00 worth of parts there is a $2.00 Special Handling Fee which will be charged in addition to the regular Boxing and Shipping Charges. (To Top)

ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Due to the high volume of orders that we must process every month, we highly recommend that you have all your order information ready (customer number, part numbers, payment method) and organized BEFORE calling. This will help make the ordering process go as smoothly as possible.
  • C.O.D., MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express/Diners Club and mail order payments are accepted.
  • On credit card orders, we need your card number and expiration date.
  • Orders of less than $10.00 cannot be charged on credit cards.
  • Please do not phone in an order for which you will be mailing a check. Any returned check is subject to a $15.00 fee.
  • C.O.D. orders are only available in the U.S. and can be paid by:
    - Certified Check
    - Bank Check
    - Postal Money Order
    UNLESS PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE.
  • UPS WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT CASH COD PAYMENTS. (To Top)

PRICES

All prices in the catalogs are subject to change without notice. We try to keep our prices as low as possible and hold price changes to a minimum. Prices may be given over the phone, but these are current prices at the time of the request, and are not to be considered quotes. (To Top)

BACK ORDERS

  • All items are shipped promptly, except where noted "Special Order" or "Exchange Only."
  • We will back order if the item is not is stock but is expected within 14 days.
  • Anything can be back ordered by request.
  • It is the customer's responsibility to keep track of back orders.
  • The shipping charges remain the responsibility of the customer for any duplicated back orders or orders refused because they are no longer needed.
  • If a back order is no longer needed, be sure to cancel it and avoid unnecessary shipping charges. (To Top)

SHIPPING POLICY

  • All orders are shipped by United Parcel Service (UPS) by default.
  • Parcel Post shipping in the U.S. is by request only or to Post Office Boxes.
  • Oversize orders will be shipped Freight Collect.
  • On all orders outside the U.S., please see the International Information Page.
  • UPS weight limit in the U.S. is 150 lbs.
  • Parcel Post weight limit in the U.S. is 70 lbs. (To Top)

SHIPPING & BOXING FEES

These are shown in the chart on the Order Form. They are estimated charges only. Actual billed charges will depend upon weight, dimensions, and destination. They are based on published UPS and USPS rates, dimensional size, and insurance. ALWAYS INCLUDE EXTRA SHIPPING FOR HEAVY OR BULKY ITEMS. Excess amounts will be refunded. (To Top)

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

  • All shipping outside the continental U.S. is made by air Parcel Post by default.
  • Weight and size limits vary depending on the destination.
  • Express mail and air freight can be used by request if available.
  • Customs forms are required on all shipments, and all customs documents require full declared values.
  • All payments must be payable on a New York bank.
  • We do not ship by ocean freight. (To Top)

RETURNED GOODS

  • Parts may be returned with a valid reason within 30 days.
  • Please write, call or e-mail us BEFORE returning anything - stating your reason for the return.
  • On any returned items which are not damaged or defective, a 12% restocking fee may be charged.
  • When returning an item, please be sure to ENCLOSE A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL SALES INVOICE. Returns will not be processed without a copy of the invoice.
  • All returned items must be prepaid. Our liability is limited to the purchased price paid -- with no liability for consequential losses. (To Top)

DAMAGED/MISSING GOODS

If merchandise was damaged in shipping, or parts are missing, immediately notify the carrier and file a claim. DO NOT DISCARD THE SHIPPING CONTAINER OR THE MERCHANDISE. Following this, call or write us for further instructions. (To Top)

PAYABLE TO

  • Money Order, Bank Drafts, and Checks should be payable to: MAC's Antique Auto Parts.
  • U.S. funds are only accepted.
  • New York State residents include proper sales tax applicable to your city or county.
  • We cannot accept international personal checks. (To Top)

Paying by check authorizes MAC's Antique Auto Parts to send the information from your check electronically to your bank for payment. Your account will be debited in the amount of your check and the transaction will appear on your bank statement. You will not receive your cancelled check back. If we cannot post the transaction electronically, you authorize us to present a copy of your check for payment. (To Top)

REFUNDS

All refunds are issued approximately 14 days after shipping unless items are back ordered, in which case the refund, if any, will be issued approximately 14 days after the shipping of the last back ordered item.

Checks must be cashed within 6 months. A replacement fee of $10.00 will apply to all uncashable or lost checks. (To Top)

NEW YORK STATE SALES TAX

All parts picked up at our store or delivered in N.Y. State are subject to the N.Y. State Sales Tax regardless of where you live, unless you have a N.Y. Resale # or Exempt # ON FILE at MAC's. Tax is calculated on the total of your order, including boxing and shipping. (To Top)
