If your engine has been overheating or running hot, the cause might be your fan shroud (or lack thereof). Your car relies on its fan and fan shroud to keep it running nice and cool, especially when you're idling or driving at a lower speeds. This shroud is an improved version of the original; by increasing the depth from 2" to 3-1/2", airflow is greatly increased as well as cooling efficiency. Made from heat-resistant ABS plastic, this fan shroud with increased depth not only enhances the fan's cooling abilities, it also offering more protection for the fan blades.

NOTE: If your 6-cylinder has power steering and air conditioning, minor trimming may be required.
