Product Details
Your classic Ford can get hot... really hot! Driving and idling in traffic on 90+ degree summer days can push your stock cooling system to its limits... and unfortunately, beyond. Factory brass radiators are barely satisfactory at transferring heat, which is why they overheat when you least expect it. Why take chances with your valuable engine? Step up to Champion's all-aluminum, high efficiency radiator. Aluminum alloy is a far superior metal to the original equipment copper-brass construction because it dissipates (or "radiates") heat much more quickly and cools down much more rapidly. Heat transfer from your engine to the atmosphere is greatly increased, thereby lowering the temperature of the engine coolant dramatically. An aluminum radiator will out-cool a copper brass radiator of similar size and construction by at least 40%. As a bonus, it's 50-75% lighter than your typical brass/copper radiator. Install this Champion high efficiency aluminum radiator in your classic and make cooling problems a thing of the past! Trust Mac's for all your Ford restoration, accessory, and performance needs. NOTE: Dimensions: 26.5" tall x 23.75" wide (lower bracket). Core: 19.88" tall x 19.75" wide x 2.5" thick. Inlet: 1.5" passenger side. Outlet: 1.75" driver side. Tanks: 3" thick. Tubes: 0.63" thick.
