Many times the only thing wrong with your wipers is the knurled knob that your wiper arm attaches to is stripped. That was never available as a separate piece so you had to buy the whole linkage set up. Not any more! This repair kit has a brand new knurled knob that will be held onto your linkage with the provided set screw. Remove the original knurled knob, slide the new one on, tighten up the setscrew & you are done - simple, easy & a whole lot cheaper than the complete linkage setup.
