Thunderbird exhaust manifolds are prone to cracking. Many times, after they have been repaired, they crack again. Don't go through that cycle. Save yourself all that down time and wasted labor and buy a brand new manifold from MAC's.
The donut type uses a steel, or other material, "donut" that fits into the tapered flange.
