This U-bolt is designed to be an exact reproduction of the original, but 1/2" longer. The added length is required when using both 5-leaf springs and Traction Master or other traction bars together, as stock bolts will not provide adequate thread engagement. This is not your average economy U-Bolt, as it has the correct swedging to provide a flat mounting surface against the axle housing. Concours flanged mounting lock nuts are included for a factory appearance. 1964-1966 Mustang Long Leaf Spring U-Bolt with the proper length needed to install traction bars with 5-leaf springs.
