The stunning replica of the wood rimmed steering wheel originally equipped on 1967 Shelby GT350s and GT500s has been very popular and has found its way onto many different cars. One minor problem is the original Shelby Wheel was made out of Mahogany and does not perfectly complement the Darker Walnut used in 16565-66 Pony Interiors, 68 Deluxe Interior as well as 69-73 Mach 1 and Grande Interiors. 

This wheel features a beautifully finished real solid wood rim with proper finger indents and a distinctive black band around the back surface just like the originals. The sporty 3-spoke design is brushed stainless steel with 4 chamfered holes per spoke and unique black rubber finger guards. The main hub is CNC machined aluminum with a satin finish. Each wheel is equipped with an integral 65-73 mounting hub. Concours correct 67-68 GT350 and GT500 horn button assemblies are available separately as well as 65-66 Shelby, Mustang and Mach 1 horn buttons.

Note: Owners of 68-73 cars must purchase 44-387537-1 Collar Sleeve to match outer diameter of larger steering column.
