  Blueprint Engines was started 20 years ago in a small garage in central Nebraska. The founder built one engine at a time for his friends and neighbors, and bit by bit his business and reputation grew. Drag racers, circle track racers, and street rodders all got some of the first engines produced by Blueprint. Today, Blueprint Engines offers some of the most "complete" crate engines you will find. Blueprint Engines are an excellent choice when selecting a drivable and reliable high performance engine for your favorite Ford. All rotating assemblies are balanced within 2 grams on a computerized balancer and engines are dyno tested (dyno sheets included). Best of all they feature a 30 month/50,000 mile warranty! For all of your Ford performance needs, you can always count on Dearborn Classics.   Block: Hand-picked seasoned block bored .040 over, square and parallel decked, align-honed main bearing bore, cylinders honed on computer controlled machine to within .0002 straightness and roundness, cylinders are sonic tested for thickness. Rotating Assembly: New cast steel crankshaft, new rods w/ 150,000 psi bolts, hypereutectic pistons, Hastings moly rings, balanced rotating assembly, high volume oil pump, hydraulic roller camshaft, heavy-duty double roller timing set. Cylinder Heads: BluePrint Performance Aluminum, hardened retainers and springs, 2.02" swirl polished intake valves, 1.60" swirl polished exhaust valves, BP Aluminum heads Part# HP9008. Cam Specs: Cam Type: Roller .543 Intake .554 Exhaust 218 Intake / 226 Exhaust duration @ .050 - 112 degree lobe separation. Ignition Timing: 34 degrees at 3500 RPM NOTE: *Not for use in pollution controlled vehicles.
