Great Upgrade For Your Cooling System
Protects Aluminum Cooling System Parts
Protect Cooling Systems From Galvanic Corrosion
Designed To Replace The Drain Petcock In The Radiator
1/4" NPT Thread
May Require Trimming To Fit
Made In The USA There is a secret weapon available to guard against cooling system corrosion - the sacrificial anode. Sacrificial anodes are created from a metal alloy with a more negative electrochemical potential than the other metal it will be used to protect. The sacrificial anode will be consumed in place of the metal it is protecting, which is why it is referred to as a "sacrificial" anode. This will protect aluminum most of all but also cuts down on steel corrosion. This one is simple to install. Simply remove the radiator petcock or plug, and screw this in. That's it! Of course not all radiators have the 1/4" NPT 'bung' for a petcock so make sure yours does before you order this great item.
