We'll help you get pointed back in the right direction with this Ford-style Falcon tilt column from ididit. It is the perfect replacement and upgrade solution designed to use the original under dash mount and a new ididit model-specific floor mount. It features all OEM Ford wiring, attractive early Ford-style knobs and levers, and even accepts your original Falcon steering wheel if you prefer to keep your car's factory look and feel. It comes to you in a durable, shiny gloss black powder coat finish, ready for installation. This column attaches easily to a modified original gearbox with ididit's 3/4" DD x 3/4" 36-spline coupler. Once in place, the original Falcon steering wheel will be back in its original location and you'll have gained the convenience of 8-position tilt, allowing you to custom adjust the column and wheel to your personal preference anytime, anywhere. As a bonus, this iditit column comes with a limited lifetime manufacturer warranty so you know it's built right... and built to last!

WARNING: The Column Shift column is 2" longer and will move the steering wheel 2" closer to the driver compared to the original. When installing your OEM steering wheel to your ididit Ford-style retrofit column, the OEM wheel must be for the same year application as the column. Use of a different year WILL result in damage to the turn signal switch. Dimmer/wiper and cruise control options can NOT be added to the Ford-style column due to the manufacturer's design of the Ford-style wiring harness.

INSTALLATION NOTE:

Use ididit's 3/4" 36-Spline x 3/4" DD coupler #3000313449 (MAC's #41-93412-1) to connect to your 1965 Falcon's stock manual steering box. The 3/4" solid shaft from your original column will need to be cut and modified into what is referred to as a DD shape.
