Ford Pickup Truck Race Trak Moulding - Bed Side Upper - Right - Black Vinyl Insert - Has Downturn To Connect With RightRear Vertical Moulding

From 1977 thru 1979, lower body side mouldings for pickups called Race Track mouldings were offered as an option. The package consisted of five mouldings running the full length of the truck. Starting at the bottom edge of the grille, the fender moulding followed the contour of the front wheel well, continued onto the door & finished up with a small moulding that partially wrapped around the back of the cab. On the truck bed, the thin lower moulding again followed the contour of the wheel well & continued towards the rear of the truck. All the way at the back, the moulding turned up & attached to a special upper moulding to complete the package. Available only with the top trim level, these mouldings were perfect for breaking up the colors on two-tone paint schemes.
