Pertronix Ignitor II - For All V8 Engines Except With Dual Points - Ford & Mercury

Fits all Ford and Mercury V-8 engines except those with a dual point distributor. This will not work in dual point distributors. The Ignitor II will NOT work with a factory coil, it requires the use of a super low resistance coil (0.6 ohms) such as our Flame Thrower II coils. Do not use solid core wires with the Ignitor ll. The Ignitor II fits inside the distributor cap for a stock look, and is able to adjust for the best possible spark over the entire RPM range with its powerful new microcontroller. It monitors the dwell constantly, and makes adjustments to maintain peak efficiency and give your spark plugs up to 4 times the energy of a conventional points system. Requires the use of a low resistance (0.6 ohms) coil like our Flame Thrower II.
